Kiddle Will Always Be One of My Favorite Nicknames

Growing up, I had a handful of nicknames, but the one that always stuck—one that still makes me smile today—was Kiddle. My mommy gave me that name. It was simple, sweet, and packed with love. But what made it extra special was how it came to be. We used to sit together with our coloring books, especially our favorites—the Liddle Kiddles Trace and Color books. If you know, you know. Those big-eyed dolls with their playful poses and candy-colored outfits were everything. I’d curl up next to her with my box of crayons, and we’d spend what felt like hours tracing, coloring, giggling, and daydreaming. My mommy always said I reminded her of one of the “Kiddles”—always in motion, full of stories, and just a little too sassy for my own good. And just like that, Kiddle became my name at home. Every time she said it, it felt like our little secret code, a hug wrapped in a word. Now that I’m older, with a business built on creativity, color, and celebration, I see how those simple moments shaped me. Liddle Kiddles taught me the joy of crafting beauty with your own hands. My mom taught me how love can live in the tiniest details. Today, I style weddings, plan events, and bring magic to life through design—but I’ll always be her Kiddle. — Do you have a nickname with a special story? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear!
